At HAIRMDL, we stand behind the quality of our products and services. We understand that choosing a hair loss treatment is an important decision, and we want you to feel confident in your purchase. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for returns, refunds, and exchanges.
1. 30-Day Return Policy
We accept returns on unopened, unused products within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Products must be in their original packaging and in resalable condition. Due to health, safety, and regulatory requirements for prescription medications and personalized treatments, we cannot accept returns on opened or used products except in cases of product defects or shipping errors.
2. Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for a return and refund, the following conditions must be met:
- Return request must be initiated within 30 days of the delivery date
- Product must be unopened, unused, and in original packaging
- Product must be in resalable condition (no damage, tampering, or alterations)
- Original proof of purchase (order number or receipt) must be provided
- Product must be returned to us within 14 days of receiving return authorization
3. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or refund:
Opened prescription products (for safety and regulatory reasons), personalized formulations (custom-compounded treatments created specifically for you), consultation fees (healthcare provider consultation and evaluation fees), used products (any product that shows signs of use or has been opened), products past 30 days (returns requested more than 30 days after delivery), and sale or promotional items (items marked as final sale or clearance when applicable).
4. Product Defects and Shipping Errors
If you receive a defective product or we made an error with your shipment, please contact us immediately. If your product is defective or damaged upon arrival, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the defect. We will replace the product at no cost to you or issue a full refund. If you receive the wrong product, contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will send the correct product at no additional charge and provide return instructions for the incorrect item.
5. How to Request a Return
To initiate a return, email us at support@hairmdl.com or call (877) 424-7635. Include your order number, reason for return, and whether the product is unopened. Our team will review your request and provide a Return Authorization (RA) number and instructions. Pack the product securely in its original packaging and ship to the address provided. Include the RA number on the package. Once we receive and inspect the returned product, we will notify you of the refund approval.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to a product defect or our error. We recommend using a trackable shipping method.
6. Refund Processing
Once your return is received and inspected, we will process your refund within 5-7 business days. You will receive an email confirmation when the refund has been processed. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your financial institution's processing times. For unopened products returned within 30 days, you will receive a full refund of the product price. Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.
7. Subscription Refunds and Cancellations
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard or by contacting customer support. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. Once canceled, you will not be charged for future subscription shipments.
If your subscription shipment has already been processed or shipped, it cannot be canceled. However, if the product arrives unopened, you may return it according to our standard return policy within 30 days. We do not provide refunds for previous subscription shipments that have already been delivered. Instead of canceling, you may also pause, skip, or adjust the frequency of your subscription through your account settings.
8. Exchanges
We do not offer direct product exchanges. If you need a different product, please return your unopened item according to our return policy and place a new order for the product you prefer.
For prescription medications, you will need to consult with your healthcare provider to determine if a different treatment is appropriate for you.
9. Lost or Stolen Packages
HAIRMDL is not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen after delivery confirmation. We ship all orders with tracking, and delivery confirmation indicates successful delivery.
If you believe your package was stolen, please file a report with your local police department and contact the shipping carrier. We may, at our discretion, assist with filing a claim with the carrier.
To help prevent package theft, we recommend:
- Providing a secure delivery location or alternative address
- Requesting signature confirmation (additional fees may apply)
- Using package tracking to monitor delivery dates
10. Damaged or Missing Items
If your product arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the damaged product and packaging. We will send a replacement or issue a full refund. If items are missing from your order, contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will investigate and send missing items or issue an appropriate refund.
11. Refused Deliveries
If you refuse delivery of your order, you will be responsible for the return shipping costs, and the refund amount will be reduced by the cost of shipping both ways. We strongly recommend contacting us before refusing a delivery so we can work with you to find a better solution.
12. Prescription-Specific Return Policy
Due to FDA regulations and safety requirements for prescription medications:
- Prescription medications cannot be returned once opened or used
- We cannot accept returns of prescription products that have been tampered with or stored improperly
- Unopened prescription products may be returned within 30 days if still sealed in original packaging
- Consultation fees paid to healthcare providers are non-refundable
If you experience side effects or have concerns about your prescription, please contact your healthcare provider immediately. Do not discontinue use without consulting your provider.
13. Changes to Refund Policy
We reserve the right to update or modify this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
